On May 2nd 2013, The Ontario Dental Association (ODA) held one of the biggest social gatherings of dental professionals in Canada, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Not an event to be missed, The ODA Conference hosted information sessions, interactive booths, and exciting presentations, on the latest and greatest influencers and innovations in the dental community. Last year, the event had more than 10,000 dental professionals attend, and this year’s turn out was just as impressive.

Health Mission Outreach (HMO) was there in full force, with a booth displaying dynamic pictures and slideshows of previous clinics and missions, which sparked the curiosity of numerous attendees.

People were genuinely interested in finding out more about HMO. Volunteers answered questions about what we do, when the next clinics and missions are taking place, and how to help out. HMO is truly the ‘dentists and dental hygienist’s charity’ in Canada, and the Conference provided the perfect venue to get to know even more dental professionals, increase recognition, attract more volunteers, and successfully raise the awareness of our work.
